this was jw and mine's 2 show we went to on this tour. (if we would have been smarter we would have also gone to the iowa show, dang it!) this was an added date to the tour so when i found out it was playing near milwaukee, i was game! no ifs ands or buts about it! i would happily pay lots and lots of money to see coldplay and will do it again when they come through again :)
when they played in st paul, they were at the target center so it was a nice difference to be at an outside arena. it seems like the band enjoyed it better also. they were much more talky and into it then in st paul. there was A. LOT. OF. PEOPLE. there. holy moses. i believe Chris Martin said there was 38,000 people? i guess i don't know how many fit in the target center but when everyone is splayed out on blankets and such on a hill, it makes it seem like a lot more people. it. was. packed! i love coldplay. apparently so do an incredibly large amount of people. not as much as me though ;)
We took off at like 1130 or so yesterday and stopped at Mac and D's for a little lunch. It basically tasted amazing since I haven't really had food like that in a while. not a full mc'd meal. my fish fillet sandwich was just deliciousness in my mouth. sadly, it makes me want more and more which is exactly why you don't cheat on a diet! naughty jessie!
i'm addicted to cones, even on my diet. they are my splurge. this one did funny things though... i'm so easily amused aren't it?
ooooo, we found our "seats" and plopped down to wait :)
these are our "psyched to be at coldplay!" faces
one of their openers was a banjo playing, harmonica roaring group that caitlin and i both enjoyed a lot actually! look at caitlins cute little belly :):):) i know that baby appreciated being at a coldplay concert so early in life
it was actually pretty chilly! jw and i both needed our tootsies warmed up.
the arena itself
i was sitting down and caitlin was standing... it made her belly look huge!
awww, pure bliss :)
not that the concert needed any sort of wow factors but it started raining in the middle of it and you would think that would suck but no, it was awesome! definite wow factor! the guys in front of us were lame though and put a blanket over their heads blocking our view. idiots. so i went up and stood by them and turned around and took jw and caitlins pic.

this is no where near the amount of people that were there but you get a visual on how things are set up...

after the concert, making our way through the mob of people.
they handed out free cd's with some old songs and a couple of new ones on there :)
there is no way at all that you can comprehend the mess it was trying to get out of the "parking lot" aka a cornfield. we just sat in the car. we waited 1 1/2 hours before we even attempted to more. cars were facing every single direction. lucky for us.. or maybe just me, the kid next to us was freaking hilarious and was belting out michael jackson tunes. soon enough, he just got out of the car and opened up the doors and started a little tiny dance party. i got out and danced a bit with them :) it was too tempting to resist!

i have some videos that i took during the concert but still cannot get them uploaded on here. how the devil do you do it?????!!!!!! grrrr. anyway, i had an amazing time and think that everyone needs to break out their coldplay cds, or go buy them if you don't have them, and listen to the amazingness that they put out!
