Some visual stimulation

I promised Nikki I would put some pics up here. So this is of the dogs chewing on this massive bone I got at Fleet Farm today. When I got ready this morning and walked out after I was done I saw that the dogs had chewed up another part of the couch. NOT COOL. Then I realized there was not a bone or toy in this house for them to play with. A trip to Fleet Farm and 30 dollars later, they had other things to chew on other then my couch. Unfortunately Clydey already chewed up one of the toys and it had to be thrown away.

This one is of Luca with this funny, singing, moving wiener dog that my mother-in-law (or soon to be) got me for my birthday. Luca seems to think this is a real dog and spends his time waiting for him to come down and play. The one on the left is from over a week ago and the right one is from yesterday... he's still waiting. Sorry to tell you Luca but you will be waiting a while.

This doesn't have a story, just the dogs loving on their momma :)

Clydey is such a smiler! I make a long story short... I went up to drop clothes of at Jen's store (my mother in law) and she has sublet half her store to a photographer. I got to talking to him about random photo things when I mentioned that my lenses desperately needed to be updated and he offered to let me borrow one of his lenses! If I like it enough he says I can buy it :) So after going outside and playing with it for a couple minutes while the dogs went potty, I got this great shot of Clyde! I tried for one of Luca but he is camera shy.

P.S. I probably will continue to talk about my dogs a lot. I don't get out much and they are pretty entertaining. I will try to think of other things though so this doesn't get boring!

Another Day, another dollar

I am not a morning person, this is just a fact. Not in the way that most people are grumpy or just half awake but in the fact that I just CANNOT get out of bed. I know this is a problem and my friends are constantly waiting for me if we are going anywhere. (Sorry guys! Just remember you love me!) I go to bed with every intention of waking up early. A little part of me will think "Tomorrow will be the day! I will get up early and actually get to eat breakfast." Sadly, this never happens. My alarm clock goes off about an hour early. Snooze button here, snooze button there and before I know it, I look at the clock and know that I will be scrambling around just to get to work on time. Hmmm, I just don't know what to do about this problem. Maybe it will be just one of those lovable quirks about me that everyone has. :)

Today I did get up a little early and while I didn't get to eat breakfast, I DID get to work 10 minutes early thinking the devil woman would be at work observing us today but alas she wasn't here. I could have pressed the snooze button again! Erg. Erg, erg, erg.
The devil woman here at work is our district manager who has taken it upon herself to make teller life here at the bank a living crap hole. I don't know how she finds the time to make rules about the smallest, most insignificant things but she does and on top of adding to our workload she has decided to bring our crew level to the bare minimum. Well, she will be sorely surprised when there is no crew here left! Haha.

Yesterday was another day in "heaven" here at work. At least I got done at 3 so then I went on home and let my boys out. They are so hyper lately! Not your average, run of the mill hyper from being locked up while I'm at work, but SUPER hyper. They were running around everywhere playing, jumping, and hopping around. It sure makes taking them for walks hard because Clydey pulls on the leash so hard! So I got one arm straight out in front of me and then straight behind me because Luca is such a lagger! At least he's real small but any sort of a tug makes him do a 360 or a flip. Poor guy. I'm very excited to bring them up to the cabin this weekend! Their first vacation. There is going to be 6 dogs up there and while the average person doesn't like that much chaos, I LOVE IT! All the cute little puppies running around causing problems. Fun!

I suppose I should get back to help the oh so grateful people of this small town.

Word to the Wise

For future reference, taking a 70 pound dog and an 8 pound dog for a walk through town is probably no the best idea in the world. My arm's are sure going to be tired tomorrow, probably as tired as Clydey is now from pulling the leash as hard as he can for a 3 mile walk... He seems to think it is good exercise and looks at me like he's doing something right by putting "man guns" on my arms. Thanks Clydey, love you lots!

Starting a blog

Now, I have started a blog a couple times and they haven't stuck but all I do at work in my spare time (which sometimes there is a lot and sometimes there is none) is look at peoples blogs. So I figure if I spend so much time looking at other blogs then maybe having my own would take up some time also. I chose the name there's no room on my bookself because
A. I am not clever enough to come up with something else and if I actually did, someone else would probably have it

B. I am constantly reading, if I could have a job where I could sit and review certain books, I'd be all over that even for minimum pay and

C. there really is NO room on my bookshelves.

Max got me a couple bookshelves for my birthday so that FINALLY I could get my books out of boxes after 2 years and to my dismay, they are completely full. How the world am I going to grow into my already full shelves. I will just have to get another I guess. Soon I will have a library and not an office. Well, that was fun :) We will see how this goes!
