St. Croix Part 1

I know, I know. These are way behind. Part 2 of my St. Croix pictures I posted a while ago. But here are some photos from my point and shoot from our wedding vacation.

Here is the tiny little 10 seater island hopper that brought us from Puerto Rico to St. Croix. We had a slight delay since there was a storm and I'm sure we would have crashed in this little thing. Max's mom called it a flying Taurus. Haha, she is so funny. We purposely didn't tell her about the tiny planes because we KNEW she would freak out. And freak out she did!
There were so many pretty flower around the hotel... they picked flower right off the bushes for some of the decoration for the wedding.
This is Max's sister Harmony and I. We were exploring the beach with JW, Rach, Lynsie and Isaac I think.
This is the part of the beach we were walking along... not really beach. More coastline? There were lots of sea urchins lurking in the rocks. Max got stung on his hand when he fell over while snorkeling and I got one in my foot when my sandal slid off. Let me tell you, they take forever to get out, and they sting for a long time even after they are out.
Max and I pre sea urchin.
This was our first little cottage... it had all the necessities. Bed, tv, bathroom and a kitchenette. They did upgrade us to a way nicer cottage since we were the wedding couple ;)
This is Max's cousin Tony and his fiancee Tina. We were on our way for a horseback ride in the rainforest! They were so nice and paid for us to come with them!
We were in the taxi here... we had to drive from Christensted to Fredrickson which was on the other side of the island. Our main taxi driver for our whole wedding group was Dallas. He as a great guy.
Max was in front of me since his horse was a "biter".
My purty lady.
This was a section that completely covered in moss. It's hard to tell by the picture how completely covered everything was but it was drowning in the stuff!

Isn't this a classic vacation picture! The whole palm tree, sand, ocean thing going on. Very VERY beautiful I will tell you!
Just Max and I. Our horses weren't cooperating very well.

This was a giant termites nest... Fascinating stuff huh?

Here is a little better look on how the moss covered everything. This is us going to walk under a strangler tree. You can't even see the branches!
We found this plant on our horseback ride that's leaves tasted just like lemons! My friends ended up not liking them but Max and I sure did! Apparently they are really good to put out on your counters if you have a bad case of ants.
My Opa and I relaxing at the pool.
This is my Oma.
My mom, sister and I looking really hot after swimming and sweating in the heat.
Max's sister Angel and I.
This was before I got into my wedding dress. Always the goofball right? This tank top is a special tank top. Rachel wore it before she got married and she passed it on to me. I wore it while I was getting ready and I will pass it down to JW or Lynsie when it is their turn! In essence, we will all wear it before getting married.
Saucy time ;)

I LOVE the horse pictures on the beach, I'm suprised I haven't seen any of those framed around your house.
