best cousins forever :)

Dexter is blessed to have such a large family and so many cousins to play with. It makes me so happy to see him playing with them and makes my heart swell so much. You know the feeling if you have kids, I know you do. And if you don't have kids, you will know exactly what I'm talking about once you do.

Seeing my sister's son and my son play together all day today was just heartwarming. I hope they realize how lucky they are to have each other and I hope they grow to be best buds :)

Here they are in the dinky fort that I made for them. Someday they will be making awesome forts and no mom's will be allowed.

And bath time. Need I say more about how cute these boys are together!?

As you all well know, my beautiful nephew was born this past Sunday. It was an incredible thing to watch and I am so glad I got to be a part of it.
I got really lucky(in a way) in the fact that on Thursday and Friday I had the flu. I even stayed home from work which I never do. Felt much better on Saturday. Sean, Harmony and Isaac came over to play some games and have dinner. Caitlin went into labor late Sat night and we went to the hospital around 3am on Sunday morning. I was able to be there for everything and be there when my little Axey came.
Then, I woke up on Monday morning with pink eye in my right eye. This morning I woke up with it in both eyes. Isaac was nice enough to pass that along to me.
I’m so sad though because I can’t go over there to see and snuggle and love and kiss my little Axey :( I can’t go over there on Saturday to take his newborn photos :(
I guess that Axton knew that I had a one day window there where I could be around him.
Thanks Axey! I’m glad you love your Auntie because she sure loves you and I will be sure to make up for lost time once it’s safe to go around you!

9 months

I can't believe that he is going to be here in less then a month! that is just so crazy to me! i can't wait to meet him! if this is the biggest month for growth, i have no idea where he is going to go because caitlin looks like she is going to pop. perhaps she will just split right down the middle and won't have to worry about giving birth or having a c-section... she will just have a giant hole in the middle. that will give him lots of room!

8 Months

I think Axton's growth spurt happened last month... he definitely seems to have simmered down in the growing department. He was head down at Caitlin's last doc appointment so he is getting ready to come out! Caitlin has his room just about ready and we are very very very ready to meet this little fella!
